Scoping the role

The first meeting is about scoping the role and gathering information and so that we can fully understand our clients organisation, needs, ethos and culture. We need to understand in detail requirements for the the vacant role so that we can design an effective strategy to find the best possible candidate.

Following the scoping meeting we compile a proposal and placement strategy plan setting out precisely how we aim to fill the role.

Search Strategy

Sourcing and Screen

TalentSpa's strength is in our ability to reach more candidates than almost any other recruiter. Through our parent group, we have access to our own dynamically updating database of over 2.5 million candidates plus a resourcing function that posts to more job boards and searches CV databases reaching over 7million candidates.

We combine this powerful resource with our placement strategy to make sure we stand the best possible chance of getting to the best candidates. We then engage with them directly to understand their ambitions and motivations. If we feel there is a possible match, we talk to them about the opportunity. Once we've compiled a suitable short list, we meet or interview every candidate.

We present the opportunity to them and continue to assess their suitability for the role.

Finally, we select the best candidates and compile a detailed assessment profile for each candidate. This is a vital step in the process and provide client with a clear and detailed overview of each candidate enabling the client to start to home in on the best candidate.

Interviewing

Working hand in glove with the client, we construct the most effective interview process. We liaise with the candidates regarding times and location and make sure they are comprehensively briefed on the role they're applying for.

Once the interviews have been completed we debrief the candidates based on client feedback and assist communication between both parties.

Selection

We undertake rigorous checks to validate candidates work history and key attributes. We are scrupulous about taking up references and look to build and underlying confidence about the background of the successful candidate that avoids any unwanted surprises and will make the on-boarding process as trouble free as possible.

We use sophisticated psychometric testing and analysis tools to help the client fully understand the strengths and weaknesses of selected candidates.

Transparency on both sides is the key consideration at this juncture and we work hard to make sure both candidates and client fully understand each other's requirements and aspirations.

The Offer

Finally we play a key role in putting the offer to the client and negotiating the final close. By acting as the broker, this facilitates an open forum allowing both parties to freely express their concerns, whether financial or otherwise. We can also assist the selected candidate in how to best exit their current position.
